Hey Ashish, This is a good initiative and it's good to have the support of Airtel but does it rstrain you any ways?
Hello Sanju, The focus is on travel and the associated adventures. Airtel is helping out by providing connectivity where ever I go. Till now the connectivity has been of great help since I am constantly in touch on the move. I am yet to exprience the full force of the GPRS available with them and also leverage the GPS feature of my phone. But I think that will be forthcoming. It also means that in places where I find the connectivity lax I will report back unbaised!
hey...keep up the gud work buddy...whts the whole thing bout, besides travelling..is it building a homestay network to which others can also avail..happy travelling
Hello Siddharth, Primarily the travel is about my PoV! However, if a homestay network can be built then all the better. I am being invited to stay over at peoples homes and maybe homestays will come up as natural progression.
which is the best route to go to ladakh according to you?
Dear Shishir, You have asked a question which is anyones dream drive. I am sure you must have researched the route via Manali. However, let me drop in a little secret to you. From Chamba (H.P.) one can attempt to enter Keylong via the Pangi valley. This route is longish as compared but is more scenic as it covers Pangi pass. Otherwise you can always do Leh from Manali-Keylong! Hope it helps
I got your address from a friend, BC Gurudutt who met you, I think on his journey throught India. I am also an avid traveler and visited India twice but will like to make another trip to see the area of my foreparents in UP. I am a retired broadcaster who worked both in production and an an an executive. Drop me a line when you can...are yes, I will like to hear about your favourite recepies as I too enjoy cooking. All the best to you. Farouk : Mount Albert, Ontario, Canada.
Dear Farouk, Yes I know BC Gurudutt quite well! Some of the recepies I learn along the way will be put up on the blog. It will be nice to have you traveling back in India. I too chanced upon my ancestral village in Himachal and it was a nostalgic delight!
About me-Iam(Age 58) fond of travelling,so I am working in travel industry past 2 yearsas post retirement, already travelled thrghout India & fareast countries, would like to travel next leg in Europe, around the world later.I would like travel in small group since my family is not at present ready to travel. Are you almost in the same interest group? Pl.send E-mail to me we will discuss the matter with regards K.P.N.Panicker
Hello Mr. Panicker, It is nice to hear from you. It is good to know that there is a traveller in all of us waiting to be let out. Although I am not currently involved with travel abroad, I can assure you that your trips around the world will be amazing. Unfortunately, I am neither part of a travel group either so I may not be able to extend to your invitation for co-travel either. However, you can find a number of sites, such as makemytrip.com who can arrange for your travel if you like. Or you can get in touch with many other travel agents who can filter out your likes and dislikes and suggest a group to you. I hope I have been of help to you! All the very best for your future journeys!

Hello Rosalia, Varanaasi is actually on the radar, however it is still some time (over a month or so) and will require more planning at my part. But I am no stranger to the wonders that Varansi casts on its visitors and I am prepared to be amazed still. I thank you for your invitation of home stay and will keep it in mind when the leg of journey is panned out. Thanks again and happy travelling!
I want to invite you to the Most Beautiful Beach City - MANGALORE. I tried to invite you, by writing all required fields including pics but server could not get it. Let me know how can i proceed and invite you. You may also call my cell...
Dear Venkatesh, Thanks for making the effort of the invite. The site has just been loaded and there may be some hickups in getting it all working. But rest assured, your invite has reached me. I believe Mangalore is in the itinerary however it is slated for the later half of the plan which means over a month from now. I will most definitely keep note of your invitation and get in touch with you again. Do keep tracking the journey around the country and have a happy time travelling yourself. Cheers Ashish
